Chicago singer R. Kelly isn’t going ghost. Instead, the music veteran turned himself over to law enforcement Friday following multiple sexual abuse charges coming his way.
According to reports, police handcuffed Kells at a Chi-Town police station.
His attorney, Steve Greenberg, said Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx succumbed to public pressure and that his client is an innocent man. “I think all the women are lying,” Greenberg said. Kelly didn’t speak to the media. “Mr. Kelly is strong, he’s got a lot of support and he’s going to be vindicated on all these charges — one by one if it has to be,” Greenberg said. (CNN)

Kelly is expected to appear in court for a bond hearing in the coming hours.
He is set to appear for a bond hearing on Saturday. The incidents — in which three of the alleged victims were minors — took place between 1998 and 2010. The victims were identified only by their initials in the press conference and legal documents. (Variety)
The drama comes after two women stepped forward this week to claim Kelly sexually abused them in the 90’s.
Earlier this month, buzz developed about a new Kelly sex tape surfacing.
