R. Kelly entered court Monday morning after remaining in custody over the weekend due to not being able to post his bond of $100,000. Attorney Steven Greenberg stated the singer’s finances are “a mess” due to being dropped by his label and being unable to tour. In his court appearance today, Kelly’s attorney, Steven Greenberg entered a not-guilty plea to all counts.
Kelly’s case is being presided over by Judge Lawrence Flood and R. Kelly entered his courtroom in an orange jail jumpsuit. He was arraigned on each of the cases that were held against him.
The next court date for R. Kelly will be March 22, however, he is due back in court next week for his back child support case. Kelly has not yet bonded out.
