Prosecutors Request That NBA YoungBoy’s Probation Be Revoked

For the second time within a year’s time, prosecutors are seeking to have probation revoked in the case of Baton Rouge rapper NBA YoungBoy.

YoungBoy, whose real name is Kentrell DeSean Gaulden, was sentenced to three years probation with a ten year suspended sentence in a 2016 drive-by shooting in Baton Rouge.

After his most recent arrest in Atlanta on February 11, prosecutors in his Louisiana case are asking that Gaulden be made to serve the suspended time.

YoungBoy’s lawyer offered a statement to the press, saying “An arrest is simply an allegation. Our position is he didn’t do anything wrong.” His lawyer are seeking to keep his current probation agreement in tact.
