Pop Smoke Estate Launches ‘Stop Snitching’ Merch Collection

Pop Smoke’s merch has caused a stir with fans.

The rapper’s estate has collaborated with streetwear brand VLONE on a “Stop Snitching” collection of tees and hoodies to coincide with his posthumous album Shoot for the Stars, Aim for the Moon. Pop’s manager Steven Victor revealed the anti-snitching merch, which starts at $65. The front reads “Stop snitching on the Woo” while the back features a gun pointed at a rat with a cancel symbol through it and the same tagline.

The promo clip was soundtracked by Pop’s new song “Snitchin’” featuring Quavo, Future, and Polo G and footage of Cam’ron being interviewed about snitch culture on “60 Minutes.”

But the “Stop Snitching” phrase was not well received by fans of the late rapper, who was shot and killed during a home invasion in February. No arrests have been made in his murder.

“This shit don’t even make sense, who was snitching on him? Y’all have dropped the ball on this roll out,” wrote one person on Instagram, while another added, “Oh so does this apply to all those innocent young children dying in Chicago ?”

Others including Pusha-T were more receptive of the designs. “Fucking Flames…” Pusha commented.

Pop’s debut album Shoot for the Stars, Aim for the Moon drops Friday featuring 50 Cent, Roddy Ricch, Lil Baby, DaBaby, Swae Lee, Tyga, Karol G, and King Combs.

Earlier this week, the cover art was revealed featuring a design from Virgil Abloh. It was widely panned, causing Pop’s management to scrap it and come up with a new design. 50 Cent, who serves as the album’s executive producer, shared some of the fan-made covers on Instagram.
