Singer Peabo Bryson is currently in the hospital after he suffered a heart attack over the weekend.
Bryson was home in Georgia on Saturday morning when he had a mild heart attack. TMZ details Bryson is expected to make a full recovery and is being supported by both his family and a medical team.
A representative for Bryson detailed to TMZ a request for privacy stating, “At this time, privacy is requested; however, the thoughts and prayers of friends and fans are welcomed and appreciated.”
Additional details for Bryson reveal that he is in stable condition, awake and responsive.
Bryson is a two-time Grammy winner who released an album, Stand For Love, last year. He is also known for singing the duets “Beauty and the Beast” theme song and “A Whole New World” from Aladdin with Celine Dion and Regina Belle, respectively.
