Nas Teases ‘Lost Tapes 3’ and ‘Lost Tapes 4’

Nas fans have waited 17 years for the sequel to The Lost Tapes, and there may be even more unreleased music on the way.

During a listening session for The Lost Tapes 2 in New York City on Tuesday night (July 16), the Queensbridge icon revealed that he has enough material to continue the series.

“As you can imagine, I’ve piled up a lot of songs since then,” he told the crowd (via Billboard). “So I got enough for a Lost Tapes 2 now. And a Lost Tapes 3 and a Lost Tapes 4.”

But first, The Lost Tapes 2 arrives Friday. The long-awaited sequel to 2002’s cult classic features unreleased tracks from Nas’ last four albums including Hip-Hop Is Dead (2006), Untitled (2008), Life Is Good (2012), and Nasir (2018).

In addition to the previously-released “Jarreau of Rap (Skatt Attack),” the album includes production from Pharrell, Swizz Beatz, RZA, No I.D., Hit-Boy, Pete Rock, and Kanye West, who helmed “You Mean the World to Me” for Nasir.
