East Coast rap veteran Missy Elliott can’t help but salute Eve. The hip-hop artist has saluted Ruff Ryders First Lady on lyrically destroying her “Hot Boyz” classic.
Missy hit up Instagram Wednesday (November 21) to shout-out Eve.
Recently, Missy Elliott hit the studio with longtime friend and hit-maker Timbaland.
A few days prior, buzz developed about Missy becoming the first female rapper nominated to the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
The Songwriters Hall gave The Associated Press the list of nominees Wednesday, a day ahead of its official announcement. Joining Elliott as performing nominees are Mariah Carey, Chrissie Hynde, Vince Gill, Mike Love, Jimmy Cliff, Jeff Lynne, Cat Stevens, John Prine, Lloyd Price, Tommy James and the Eurythmics (Annie Lennox and Dave Stewart).
