Following the release of Creed II: The Album earlier this month, Mike WiLL Made-It brought one of the songs to life on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”
Joined by Young Thug and Swae Lee, the super-producer turned Studio 6-B into a boxing ring while delivering their movie anthem “Fate.” Swae Lee embodied the boxing theme in a Versace robe with gloves around his neck, while Thugger rocked “Fate” boxing shorts and sparkly tights. They went round for round trading verses in the ring, while Mike WiLL manned the turntables.
In addition to “Fate,” the Mike WiLL Made-It-produced Creed II soundtrack features contributions from Kendrick Lamar, Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, J. Cole, Kodak Black, YG, Gucci Mane, Pharrell, and more.
The movie, starring Michael B. Jordan and Sylvester Stallone, was a beast at the box office, opening at No. 2 with $55.8 million over the five-day Thanksgiving weekend.
