Megan Thee Stallion is burning up.
Prior to hitting the stage at the BET Awards Pre-Show, Tina Snow stopped by “The Cruz Show” on REAL 92.3 where she was asked to share her top 5 female rappers of all time.
She didn’t hesitate to rattle off four veteran MCs including Lil’ Kim, Missy Elliott, Eve, and Foxy Brown. The fifth spot she gave to the 24-year-old Hot Girl from Houston, herself.

The Southern spitfire has been a champion of female representation in hip-hop. “There always have been so many female rappers. It’s just that a lot of female rappers don’t get the opportunity to come and showcase our talents,” she told Billboard in December. “This year, they’ve been putting the spotlight on us. I love how everybody is turning up and taking advantage of it. But it’s a lot of play-play female rappers [who don’t take music seriously] and I just want the real ones to just be able to come take over.”
Meg, who released her album Fever in May, recently landed a spot on XXL‘s 2019 Freshman Class alongside Gunna, Blueface, DaBaby, and Tierra Whack. She is set to hit the road with Meek Mill and Future on their “Legendary Nights Tour” starting in August.
