Meek Mill may not have to look far for new talent.
The Philadelphia rapper, who launched his Dream Chasers Records last week, was joined onstage by his 9-year-old son during an appearance in his hometown over the weekend.
Rihmeek, who Meek calls “Papi,” proved that the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree when he spit a freestyle for the crowd at Philly club NOTO.

While it’s hard to decipher exactly what he was saying, the crowd seemed to loved it and cheered him on, while his father offered some encouraging words. “Get your bars up, man… Be ready for your destiny,” said Meek, adding, “Make some noise for my son Papi in the building one time.”
In addition to launching his joint venture with Roc Nation, Meek is celebrating after a Pennsylvania appeals court tossed out his 2008 conviction in a drug and gun case. A unanimous three-judge opinion granted him a new trial because of new evidence of alleged police corruption.
