Maybach Music Group’s Meek Mill is getting ready to flex his acting chops. The hip-hop star has announced plans to star in an upcoming movie called 12 O’Clock Boys.
Meek Milly went to Instagram Tuesday (October 9) to break the news to fans.
The film is reportedly inspired by 2013 documentary 12 O’Clock Boys based on Maryland bikers.
The film will follow the original documentary’s story, which detailed the lives of a community of bikers in Baltimore. Teyonah Parris, Jahi Winston, and Will Catlett will also star in the film alongside Mill, who will reportedly play the role of a biker gang leader. Sony and Overbrook Entertainment — Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith’s entertainment company — will produce the film, which does not yet have a release date. (The FADER)

According to reports, Meek and rap diva Cardi B have a low-key record together.
Sources tell TMZ Cardi recently stepped into the studio with none other than Meek Mill to lay down some material that’ll be used in a forthcoming song. We’re told they cranked out hooks and verses — all of which is fair game for a final product that’s yet to be released. While we’re told the collab happened a few months ago, the timing is nothing short of less-than-perfect for Nicki … who’s in the middle of a good ol’ fashioned beef with Cardi. (TMZ)
