Don’t ever doubt the power of Mariah Carey. The Pop queen showed she runs the holiday season as her legendary Christmas carol “All I Want for Christmas Is You” is the new holder of the single most streams in a single day on Spotify. The track moves XXXTentacion’s “SAD!” out the top spot.

The Carey carol racked up 10,819,009 streams on Chrismas Eve. The number is a hefty 500,000 more spins than “SAD!” did a day after the death of XXX.

Now that the holiday is over, the single should slide back down the charts, until it’s that time of year again for Queen Carey to take over our ears again.
