Chicago rapper Lupe Fiasco isn’t making fans wait as long as they expected for his new Drogas Wave album. The hip-hop veteran has announced his new LP is now dropping in 48 hours.

Following news of an unexpected leak, Lupe Fiasco, independent multi-platinum Grammy award-winning visionary (2008, “Daydreamin”) announced plans to release his fanatically-talked about new full-length studio album, “Drogas Wave” (1st & 15th/ Thirty Tigers) this Friday, one week ahead of the previously announced release date. “I don’t know how the album got out, but it did. It’s my label and I can do what I want with the music so I’m making it available to my fans now,” said Fiasco about the early release.
Lupe also jumped on Instagram to confirm his project is officially coming out in 2 days.
Barring any last-minute changes, Lupe’s new 24-song LP features a handful of collaborations.
