Kodak Black has a friend in Lil Yachty.
Fresh off his presidential pardon, Kodak received a generous welcome home gift from his “Make a Hit” collaborator. Yachty shared footage of himself presenting Kodak with what appears to be $50,000 in cash at a gas station.
“I got something for you, brother,” Yachty says before handing Kodak a big stack of cash. “That’s that welcome home gift. A good 50-piece for him.”
A grateful Kodak hugs Yachty and thanks him. “You know I appreciate it,” he responds before placing the money in his backpack.
Yachty has been one of Kodak’s most loyal supporters. He was among the celebrities who lobbied President Donald Trump to commute Kodak’s 46-month prison sentence for falsifying paperwork to obtain a firearm.
“Hey @realDonaldTrump my friend @KodakBlack1k deserves to be commuted. The system punished him way to hard for a paperwork crime,” Yachty tweeted in early January.

Since Kodak’s release last month, he has made several public appearances. The charitable rapper also offered to pay college tuition for the children of two Florida FBI agents who were shot and killed in the line of duty. Plus, he dropped two tracks since returning home—“Last Day In” and “Every Balmain.”
Meanwhile, Lil Boat just dropped a music video for “Asshole” featuring Oliver Twist off his deluxe album, Lil Boat 3.5. He is also working with Mattel Films to develop an action heist comedy based on the card game Uno.
