Lil Wayne is bringing the Funeral back to life.
On Friday, the Young Money boss took over Apple Music’s Beats 1 for the first episode of his new show Young Money Radio. During the live broadcast from his Miami mansion, he welcomed special guests from the music and sports worlds, and even announced a deluxe edition of his chart-topping album Funeral.
Weezy previewed two collaborations that are set to appear on the project, “Help” featuring Tory Lanez and a duet with Jessie Reyez called “Love You, Fuck You.”
He didn’t reveal a date for the deluxe, but hinted at an imminent release. “It’s coming out soon, maybe sooner than y’all expect,” said Tunechi, who dropped Funeral in January.
On his inaugural show, he also welcomed guests including Travis Scott, Lil Baby, Babyface, and the mayor of New Orleans, LaToya Cantrell, and announced a $200,000 donation to his hometown of New Orleans to aid with COVID-19 relief efforts.
