Lil’ Kim has set a release date for her long-awaited album.
The Queen Bee will officially make her return on May 17 with her fifth album Nine.
She made the announcement during a performance in Atlantic City over the weekend. “Fuck it, while I’m here, May 17, Nine the album,” Kim told the crowd. “It’s my fifth album. I got some shit for y’all.”
She went on to reveal that the project will feature a collaboration with Rick Ross.

During a visit to Hot 97 earlier this month, Kim announced the title of her first album since 2005’s The Naked Truth. “It’s called Nine and there’s a lot of meaning behind that,” she told Funkmaster Flex.
March 9 is the day Biggie died and June 9 is the day her daughter Royal Reign was born. This is also her ninth project, including four albums and four mixtapes.
Last month, she dropped her new single “Go Awff,” for which a video is expected to debut soon.
