Kodak Black was arrested on federal and state weapons charges just before taking the stage at the Rolling Loud festival on Saturday (May 11).
The 21-year-old rapper, whose real name is Bill Kapri, was taken into custody shortly before his set at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, according to the U.S. Marshals office. Prior to his performance, officers from Miami-Dade County and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives were waiting with both state and federal warrants.
Black was arrested on the scene and taken to the police station. All of the warrants he was arrested on were firearm related, reports TMZ. It’s currently unclear if he was armed at the time of arrest.

After he was taken into custody, a reporter for Miami’s WSVN obtained a photo of a Gucci-clad Black in handcuffs. He is set to appear in Miami federal court on Monday (May 13).
This is Black’s latest run-in with the law. Just last month, he was charged with criminal possession of a weapon and unlawful possession of marijuana after he tried to cross the Canada border into the U.S.
