The 23-year-old singer has announced that she is four months pregnant with her first chid, a baby girl. Taking to social media, Kehlani revealed the big news along with photos of her growing baby bump.

“SHE DONT WANNA HIDE NO MO! this was so hard to contain,” tweeted Kehlani. “i’m so so so happy. the highest blessing one could receive. i love you already, mama. 4 months & so grateful.”

The overjoyed mom-to-be gushed over her bun in the oven. “i have a daughter. me. i. me! kehlani!” she added. “i have a mini on the way. my partner is my best friend and quite frankly the only man on earth i trust. we are SO READY FOR U MIJA!!!!!!!!!”

She decided to go public with the news because she no longer wanted to keep her pregnancy a secret. “the decision to share this with the world was a tough one, but i really want to experience the freedom and joy any normal pregnant person feels. i don’t want to hide. i want to walk around belly out everywhere. ME AND MY SHORTY OUT HERE!”

Following the announcement, her peers including Miguel, Lil Yachty, and Ty Dolla $ign left congratulatory comments on her Instagram page.

“This is beautiful, congratulations,” said Miguel, while Lil Yachty added, “Amazing! Congratulations!” Ty Dolla $ign wrote, “Ayeeeeeeee congrats sis,” and Jessie J also shared her happiness: “My heart is so full for you my love.”
