Reality TV star Kim Kardashian is coming to her man’s defense. The high-profile entertainer has addressed Kanye West‘s iPhone incident at newly launched Broadway musical “The Cher Show.”
According to Kim K, Yeezy actually went to his phone as a result of how much he loved the show.
“He felt like s–t,” she told us at her KKW Beauty pop-up at South Coast Plaza on Tuesday. “He was actually taking notes because he loved the production so much.” And before you assume Kim was the one who urged the hip-hop star to respond to the backlash publicly, think again. As Kim described, “He was the one right away who said, ‘Oh my God, I’m gonna tweet. I just need to apologize. There’s no excuses. It was rude and I need better etiquette.’” (E! Online)
According to reports, KimYe planned to leave the show at intermission Monday night but ended up staying.
A source close to Kanye tells us … Kanye loved the production and was taking notes on his phone. He thought the show was so beautiful that, even though he and Kim were scheduled to leave during intermission, they pushed their flight back so they could catch the end of the show. (TMZ)
After the show, Kanye went to Twitter to apologize to “Cher Show” star Jarrod Spector for using his phone.

Monday night, Spector made headlines after name-dropping Ye for using his phone during the live performance.
Hey @kanyewest so cool that you’re here at @TheCherShow! If you look up from your cell phone you’ll see we’re doing a show up here. It’s opening night. Kind of a big deal for us. Thanks so much.
