Jhene Aiko’s fans have been waiting for the singer to drop a project. Single after single, Aiko has been dropping heat since the summer. Starting off with her freestyle “Triggered” that got fans in their feelings, leading up to her song, “None of Your Concern” featuring Big Sean that had fans reminiscing on past relationships, till the sultry song that she just released a week ago titled “P*ssy Fairy.”
As always, Jhene shows how versatile she can be within her music, which is one of the reasons fans love her most. The LA singer has just announced that she will soon be releasing a project titled, CHILOMBO. The singer hasn’t released an album since Trip, which was released September 22nd, 2017.
Following Aiko’s release of the visuals to her song, “P*ssy Fairy,” yesterday she revealed a “pop up” visual to explain a little about the title of the song and where the inspiration behind the visual and choreography came from. At the end of the clip, Jhene reveals the name of her forthcoming album.
The album, titled after her legal last name, (Jhené Aiko Efuru Chilombo) is expected to release in February. The exact day in February hasn’t been mentioned, but its been a long time coming for Aiko fans, so we hope the singer won’t have any extra delays.
