New York rapper Ja Rule is more than your average “Martin” fan. The hip-hop veteran flexed his love for the classic 90’s sitcom dressed up as Martin Lawrence character Jerome.
Rule hopped on Instagram this week with pics and footage of himself as the unforgettable character.
Back in February, “Martin” stars Carl Payne and Martin reunited amid reboot speculation.
Recently, Carl Payne spoke to a paparazzo about the possibility of “Martin” returning and finding a home at streaming giants like Netflix.
“I’ve heard,” Payne said when asked if he had heard about the “Martin” reboot rumors. “People are talking. You know? It means, we’re all talking. I’m saying, people are talking. [Would I be down for a reboot?] Absolutely. Why not? I think the people want it. I think it’s long overdue. We created magic in a bottle. Why not do it again? … I think there’s a lot of room to grow there [at Netflix]. It would be smarter and better and funnier.” (TMZ)
