Former ‘106 And Park’ Host A.J. Calloway Suspended From ‘Extra’ Amid Sexual Misconduct Investigation

According to several confirmed reports, Extra host A.J. Calloway has been suspended from his job indefinitely by Warner Brothers Television as they conduct “an internal review to determine whether there had been any misconduct by Mr. Calloway on Extra and whether any employee of the show had been the victim of any such misconduct.”

Calloway, a former host of the famed youth-driven BET video show 106 And Park, was accused by at least three women of sexual misconduct, with one of the women filing an aggravated sexual assault charge against the television host as recent as last year.

One of the other alleged victims, activist Sil Lai Abrams, says that Calloway attempted to make her touch his penis when they first met in 2006 and named him as the “B-list celebrity” who abused her in her 2007 book.

A.J is adamantly denying the accusations, issuing a statement through his lawyer saying, “Mr. Calloway maintains that these unsubstantiated allegations are patently false. He vehemently denies that he ever assaulted anyone and looks forward to clearing his name.”
