Fivio Foreign is certainly one of the artists on the rise fresh out of the Brooklyn Drill scene. Fresh off the heels of the release of his “Big Drip” (Remix) he stopped by Peter Rosenberg and cleared the air about the deal he inked with Mase.
“[Mase] was hip to the sound, to the Brooklyn drill sound,” Fivio said before revealing the Hip Hop veteran signed him and two other collaborators, Jay Dee and Dee Savv, to a publishing deal. “He don’t own none of my publishing.”
This contradicts 50 Cent’s claims that Mase was doing to Fivio Foreign what Diddy did to him with his publishing rights. The “Been Around The World” artist has also denied these claims.
Elsewhere in the interview, he spoke about the impact Pop Smoke’s death had on him. He said this is the first time a death outside of his mother’s own affected him deeply.
