New York rapper Fat Joe is keeping it 100 on Tekashi 6ix9ine‘s federal troubles. The hip-hop veteran has reacted to his now-viral interview with the “King of New York” about getting caught up in the streets turning into reality.
In a new interview, Joey Crack addressed his intimate TIDAL interview where he warned 6ix9ine about law enforcement trying to bring him down.
“It was maybe like nine, ten months ago. It was on my podcast, ‘Coca Vision’ on TIDAL. I was just trying to school him because I’ve been through that. I had the heat on me. I was wilding on the streets. I tried to tell him as a young kid, it’s my job because the OGs when I came into the game schooled me. They could have stopped me from a lot of troubles. It just ain’t Tekashi, it could be Youngboy NBA or whoever. Whenever I catch one of these young boys, I try to school them and let them know it. It just so happened that the Tekashi thing was on film. I was just telling him what was going to happen. Unfortunately I was right. I prayed for him last night because I actually really like the kid. He’s actually a cool kid and unfortunately he’s got a serious situation on his hands.” (TMZ)
Despite the craziness, 6ix9ine’s attorney recently said he believed his client would have the charges dropped.
“I believe that the charges against him is an over-charge by the U.S. Attorney’s Office and that when the facts come out I am confident that the charges will be dismissed as it relates to Daniel Hernandez Tekashi 6ix9ine.” (XXL Mag)

Last night, UGK’s Bun B recalled Fat Joe’s warnings to Tekashi.
Tek and his crew have a slew of federal charges pinned to them.
3:30 PM PT — According to the 17-page indictment, obtained by TMZ, Tekashi is facing 6 counts … the most serious of which is discharging a firearm while committing a crime. That count carries a possible life sentence, and a mandatory minimum of 25 years in prison. His ex-manager, Shottie, is facing the same 6 counts. Prosecutors say the acts of violence were intended to protect the gang’s drug biz, retaliate against rival gangs or promote Nine Trey’s rep on the streets. (TMZ)
