A performance almost went left for The Weeknd as he took the stage in Mexico City this past Sunday night. A piece of stage equipment dropped to the stage, just steps away from where he was singing.

TMZ captured the moment showing the piece dropping just to the right of the singer as he was performing “Party Monster.” As a true professional, The Weeknd didn’t make anything of the incident, and seemingly didn’t even notice, as he continued his performance unphased.

There are reports of inclement weather during the show, which may have had an effect on the staging but no one can confirm. The Weeknd will be back in Mexico City on Monday night. Check out the moment below.
