Fabolous Strikes Plea Deal in Domestic Violence Case

Fabolous has struck a plea deal in his domestic violence case involving Emily B.

As part of the terms set forth by a Bergen County, NJ court, the rapper will avoid jail time and instead be required to enroll in a pretrial intervention program, which is typically offered to first-time offenders.

Fabolous’ attorney, Brian Neary, tells TMZ that the charges will be dismissed as long as he completes the program and keeps his nose clean for a year.

He must also give the court a status update once a month. He won’t be required to take part in any therapy or anger management courses.

Fabolous was facing up to 20 years behind bars after a grand jury indicted him in October on four felony charges including one count of domestic violence with significant bodily injury, two counts of threatening to kill, and one count of possession of a weapon.

The indictment stemmed from a physical altercation between Fabolous and Emily Bustamante, the mother of his two sons. During the incident, which was captured on camera, Fabolous threatened Emily’s father while brandishing a sharp object.

The couple was able to resolve their issues and Fabolous and Emily remain together.
