Empire is in its sixth and final season, but the date of the season finale may be in the air because production was halted as a response to the coronavirus pandemic. But fans have a special episode to look forward to tonight.
Taraji P. Henson is set to make her directorial debut on the upcoming episode “Come Undone.” The synopsis is explained in FOX’s press release statement: Cookie continues to keep her secret from her sisters, but Lucious feels she needs to come clean in order to move forward. When Treasure is unable to perform at the upcoming showcase, Becky suggests that Yana take the spot, but Lucious feels she’s not ready. Meanwhile, Giselle struggles with keeping her family secret from Julian, Maya sets her sights on her own recording deal and Andre’s actions put Quincy in a very bad situation.
Aside from Taraji showing her fans what she can do iconic R&B group, En Vogue, will be making a guest appearance in the episode performing their hit single, “Never Gonna Get It (My Lovin).”
The “Come Undone” episode of Empire airs Tuesday at 9 p.m. ET.
