Sometimes it’s best to tackle your fears head-on, and that was the case for Diddy when he appeared on The Ellen Show yesterday (Oct. 25). The music tycoon initially denied Ellen’s allegation that he fears clowns, but that was quickly tested.
“No, impossible,” he said denying the accusation. “I’m a Black man. I have so many other things to be fearful of, a clown isn’t going to scare me. I’m not afraid of clowns.”
The minute Diddy was finished denying that he fears comedians, a clown showed up and scared him out of his seat.
The Black 100 list maker began dancing to play off the scary moment. After catching his breath and laughing, he thanked the television host.
“You know I woke up this morning and said I want my life to be full of surprises, Ellen I thank you,” he said. “You really affected my street cred with that.”
Beside confronting his fears and walking away from his 10-year relationship with Cassie, Diddy is out to make the world a place. On Tuesday (Oct. 23) Diddy declared that he will give $1 million towards the opening of a Bronx, New York Charter School. The school is embarked to open for the up and coming school year with 160 students. There is also a five-year plan set up to increase enrollment.
“I know from my own experience that receiving a great education makes a great impact on a child’s future,” he wrote as an Instagram caption. “I want our kids to have access to everything they need to succeed, in school and life. Which is why I’m also pledging $1,000,000 to help give our kids every advantage possible.”
