This past week Drake asked a judge to push back his scheduled assault trial date because he’s too busy to attend court in the next few months.
Drake’s assault charge stems from a fight that happened in a West Hollywood club back in March 2018. In January, Drake and Kourtney Kardashian’s ex, Younes Bendjima, were both sued.
Younes was captured on video punching a man at the nightclub. Drake and Odell Beckham Jr. are in the group that watched as Younes beat the man up.
According to The Blast, Drake can’t make his scheduled court appearance on July 21, 2020, due to “professional commitments all over the world.” However, the Canadian rapper is potentially available in February 2021.
The court has yet to make a decision.
