OVO Sound boss Drake is dealing with a lot of emotions right now. The 6 God took to social media to share a personal message about a girl he befriended through Make-A-Wish.

Gonna miss you a whole lot. We met through make a wish and we built a genuine bond you would text me and check on me while I was on tour and tell me positive things and share your dreams and goals. I am crying in this pic but it was tears of joy cause we just prayed for you with your father. I am sorry I missed your text on my birthday that’s eating my soul right now but you know how much I loved you and was looking forward to seeing you after tour. Over the summer, Drake went to go visit an ill fan ahead of her undergoing heart surgery.

“Sofia is out of surgery! Surgery went well. She received a really good, strong heart,” a message on Sofia Sanchez’s Go Fund Me page said. The 11-year-old had been diagnosed with cardiomyopathy, which causes heart failure. Last week she shared pictures with the Canadian rapper after he visited her at Lurie Children’s Hospital in Chicago. (BBC)
