Drake is making Billboard history.
The 6 God has set a new record for the most entries ever on the Billboard Hot 100. He landed his 208th career title this week with “Oprah’s Bank Account,” his collaboration with Lil Yachty and DaBaby.
The first single off Yachty’s upcoming album Lil Boat 3 debuts at No. 89, with 10.5 million first-week U.S. streams following its March 9 release.
Drake has now surpassed the “Glee” cast with 208 total Hot 100 entries in the 62-year history of the Hot 100. His first appearance on the chart was in May 2009 with “Best I Ever Had,” which debuted at No. 92. Since then, he has spent a record 431 consecutive weeks through Aug. 19, 2017. Six of his 208 Hot 100 hits have hit No. 1.
His peers have a lot of catching up to do. Following Drake and the “Glee” cast (207) are Lil Wayne (168), Elvis Presley (109), and Nicki Minaj (108). The all-time list also includes Kanye West (107), JAY-Z (100), and Chris Brown (99).
