Drake and Future’s What a Time to Be Alive 2 may be in the works.
On Thursday night (April 4), Drake brought out Future during his “Assassination Vacation Tour” at London’s O2 Arena. While backstage after the show, Future took to Instagram Stories with Drake, where they revealed that they are cooking up new music, a possible sequel to their 2015 collaborative project What a Time To Be Alive.
“What’s that? We gotta cook that up. That two,” said Drake while holding up two fingers in the video. Future responded, “It’s already cooked. Top secret.”

Just last month, there were reports that the FBGOVO duo was working on What a Time To Be Alive 2. According to OnSMASH, the project is already complete and features new music that was not left over from their past recording sessions.
There had first been rumors of a WATTBA sequel last year when Future teased an unreleased Drake collaboration on Snapchat. “I got 20 damn Kylies,” Future rapped in the clip (via XXL) before Drake added, “I got 20 damn Kendalls / Young slim baddies and they’re in Vogue / I got 20 fuckin’ Gigis.”
The original What a Time to Be Alive dropped in September 2015 featuring production from Metro Boomin and Southside. It opened at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and was certified platinum.
Today, Future also teamed up with Vevo to release the official live performances of “Promise U That” and “Call The Coroner” off his latest album Future Hndrxx Presents: The WIZRD. Watch below.
