Doja Cat doesn’t want smoke with Nas.
The “Say So” rapper says she still has love for the hip-hop icon after he took a shot at her on his King’s Disease single “Ultra Black.” Speaking with Fat Joe on his “Joprah Show,” Doja opened up about the “beef.”
“I’m just glad he’s still putting out music ’cause I love him. I grew up on Nas,” said Doja, who was conflicted after hearing the song. “So to hear that, I’m like, ‘Damn.’ But also, ‘Damn! I fu**in’ love Nas. Thank fu**in’ God he noticed me. I love Nas.’”

However, it’s all water under the bridge. “I don’t give a shit. He can say whatever he wants. I really don’t care. If I love you, I love you,” said Doja.
After first hearing Nas’ apparent diss (“Unapologetically Black / The opposite of Doja Cat”), Doja responded with fake outrage, but she doesn’t plan to take it any further. “I made jokes about it, but other than that, you will never see me beef with Nas,” she said. “He might want to beef with me, but you’re not gonna see me beef with Nas. You won’t see me respond.”

Last month, she made reference to the rumored feud by teasing a song called “N.A.S.,” an acronym for “Ni**as Ain’t Shit.” “The song that I have coming out is called ‘N.A.S.,’ but only if you abbreviate it. It’s three words-abbreviate. Which is funny, it’s kinda nice,” she told fans.
Nas has addressed the controversial lyric. In an interview with Power 106’s “The Liftoff” show, he said that he didn’t mean no disrespect and just needed the song to rhyme. “I just really was saying a rhyme that rhymed with ‘Ultra Black.’ I didn’t even think of it,” he said.
