25 years of Loud Records was celebrated at Radio City Music Hall in New York City on Thursday. Founder Steve Rifkind was joined by legendary hip-hop stars and performances but one of the head-turning moments of the night was a special appearance from DMX.
Dark Man X made a special appearance before Wu-Tang Clan hit the stage to perform the 1998 classic “Ruff Ryders Anthem.” The legend was not announced for the show, so his appearance sent the crowd into a frenzy. He concluded his time on stage by spitting a few bars from “Blood Red” and exiting with the same superstar aura he arrived with.
The appearance was a welcomed sight for DMX fans as he has not been seen since October after checking himself back into rehab in an effort to avoid relapsing.
You can see footage from X’s pop-up below.
