Music mogul Diddy is going through some personal pains right now. The hip-hop icon has stepped forward to speak on the untimely death of his longtime friend and former lover Kim Porter.

Puff Daddy went to Instagram Sunday (November 18) to share emotional words about the late 47-year-old.

According to reports, law enforcement found Porter’s lifeless body Thursday in California.

Kim Porter, the model and actress who dated Diddy for 13 years, was found dead Thursday at her L.A. area home … TMZ has learned. Law enforcement sources tell us they got a call to Porter’s Toluca Lake home around noon. According to emergency dispatch audio the call came in as a patient in cardiac arrest. A source connected to Kim tells us she’d been suffering flu-like symptoms, and possibly pneumonia, for several weeks, but it’s still unclear what exactly caused her death. Another source says Kim had contacted her doctor just yesterday complaining she wasn’t feeling any better. (TMZ)

Diddy’s representative confirmed the tragic and unexpected passing.

“Sadly, I can confirm the passing of Kim Porter,” the musician’s rep tells Us in a statement. “I ask that you give the families privacy at this time.” LAPD Officer Jeff Lee also tells Us: “I can confirm that there is an investigation underway in the 10300 block of Woodbridge. That call came out at 11:38 this morning. And there is a female deceased at the scene. We are sending our homicide detectives over there to find out whether or not foul play was involved.” (Us Weekly)
