Diddy, Alicia Keys, Nas, and Janet Jackson tapped as their tour DJ because DJ Aktive has his finger on what various cities are feeling— what moves them and what makes them special!

Now, here is time for him to capture that spirit on one track. He does that masterfully with his new single, “The City” featuring some of Illadelphs most notable talents, Jazzy Jeff, Freeway and Bri-Steves. But he doesn’t stop there. He included one of Philly’s adopted sons, Common.

The song has a groove to it. And its colorful video was brought that feeling to life thanks to renowned music film director and animator Konee Rok, using Adobe tools and technology.

The song and video is a vibrant homage to the cities that each musician holds dear to their hearts, specifically Chicago and Philadelphia, including the people, places, and iconic images for which each city is known.
