Chris Brown’s Indigo will be a star-studded celebration.
The singer, who celebrates his 30th birthday today, has revealed that his upcoming ninth album will feature a whopping 30 tracks. In response to an Instagram post about his chart stats, he let his fans in on the secret.
“IM SO EXCITED ABOUT THIS INDIGO ALBUM NOW! ( oh, and just to let y’all in on a lil secret) IM TURNING 30 so there will be 30 songs on this one. SORRY NOT SORRY,” wrote Breezy.
He previously shared some of the guests who will appear on the 30 tracks including Drake, Justin Bieber, Tory Lanez, Tyga, Tank, H.E.R., Juvenile, Joyner Lucas, Gunna, and Juicy J. Nicki Minaj and G-Eazy also join Chris on the previously-released single “Wobble Up.”
While 30 tracks may sound like a lot, his last album featured even more music. 2017’s double-disc set Heartbreak on a Full Moon had 45 songs, while the deluxe edition contained a staggering 57 tracks.
And there’s plenty of more music waiting in the wings. In a 2017 interview with “Ebro in the Morning,” Brown revealed that he has no shortage of unreleased music. “In my phone alone, right now, I have like 800 songs that nobody’s heard,” he said. “Not bragging. It’s just that my work ethic only allows me to stay creative.”
