Chamillionaire Invests in 16-Year-Old Girl’s Texas-based Condiment Company

Chamillionaire launched a $100K program to invest in women-owned start-up businesses.

The Grammy-winning artist joined forces with Shark Tank star and FUBU owner, Damon John and multi-platinum rapper, E40 to expand a Texas-based condiment company called Sienna Sauce.

The moguls kicked-off a crowd investment campaign on Republic.co and raised about $10,000 for the 16-year-old’s business. “Sienna Sauce was a runner-up in my pitch competition and I really like tracking this company,” says Chamillionaire in a statement on his personal Republic.co page. “I invested in Sienna Sauce because I back startups that have domain expertise, resiliency, and a roadmap that I believe could potentially lead to success.”

Chamillionaire has a good eye for start-ups. He invested $1.5M in the tech start-up, Maker Studios, which grossed $20M in earnings and was later purchased by Walt Disney. He also made an early investment in Lyft, and was one of the first out of the 53 investors in Sienna Sauce’s crowdfund.
