Actor Liam Neeson turned heads after a recent interview revealed that he once wanted to hand out fades to Black people after his friend was raped. The Taken franchise star’s racist revelation caught the attention of other celebrities who blasted Neeson for his quip.

In an interview in The Independent, Neeson explains that the rape of a friend sparked him to roam the streets in search of a “Black bastard” to beat up out of anger. Naturally, Neeson has endured quite a bit of flack for it and he’s already on the apology tour at the moment.

Still, the damage of the statement was done and beyond those who aren’t in his field, other known figures took to Twitter to shout down Neeson for his dangerous and divisive admittance.
