To say that Cardi B is having a great year would be a gross understatement. She recently had her first child with Migos rapper Offset. Her debut album Invasion of Privacy has been a tremendous
success, producing several singles that have reached the top of the charts. Now, Cardi B has continued her hot streak as a businesswoman by launching her clothing line in partnership with Fashion Nova.
According to reports, Cardi B’s line at Fashion Nova is a runaway success, selling out immediately. The line sold out within hours of its debut. The former reality show star shared on social media that some of the items her line should be restocked just in time for Black Friday, and other pieces will be back on the site in a couple of weeks.
Speaking her entrepreneurial endeavor the “Bodak Yellow” rapper said, “Fashion Nova gave me an opportunity to design what I like, what I want to put out. I’m gonna put out a line with them, a
little somethin’ somethin.’ I’m collabbin’ with them for the fall. It’s gonna be great because it’s what I like … They’ve been rocking with me from the beginning. On top of that, Fashion Nova
is big. I know a lot of people can’t afford expensive-ass sh*t … so everything is gonna be affordable. I want people to look good and high end with a good budget price. That’s the perfect
opportunity.”
Without question, 2018 has been the year of Cardi B.
