New York rapper Cardi B sees greatness in Mulatto and Normani. The hip-hop heavyweight went online this week to big up the two “WAP” music video cameo standouts by putting respect on their careers.
Cardi B Co-Signs Mulatto and Normani
Heading into Sunday, Cardi hit up her Instagram page to show love to the rap rookie and R&B crooner. While B said Latto is on the steady come-up, Cardi acknowledged she can’t wait for Normani’s studio album to drop.
“Just beautiful @mulatto…..I been seen Mulatto grinding and grinding and she really getting up there .I see her up and stuck up there .Sooo proud of her .Keep Killing and Thank you sooo much .” -Cardi B’s Instagram
“🥺🥺🥺🥺 thank u Bardi u a real one fasho ❤️” -Mulatto

High-Key Details
Heading into the weekend, Republican congressman James P. Bradley went to his Twitter pages to go off-off on the new “WAP” record. He took personal offense at the song’s steamy content and didn’t hold back on dissing both Cardi B and her collaborator Megan Thee Stallion.
“Cardi B & Megan Thee Stallion are what happens when children are raised without God and without a strong father figure. Their new “song” The #WAP (which i heard accidentally) made me want to pour holy water in my ears and I feel sorry for future girls if this is their role model! … Secondly, while I personally take offense to the lyrics and messaging of this song, I absolutely respect her 1st Amendment right to make it. Also surprised that twitter doesn’t mind this kind of free speech but has a problem with conservative free speech.” -James P. Bradley’s Twitter
And to make things more cringe, Bradley also took a swipe at the “types” of people not wanting public schools to open during the global coronavirus pandemic.
“Is it a coincidence that it’s the stupidest people who don’t want schools to reopen?” -James P. Bradley
Wait, There’s More
It didn’t take long before both Cardi’s Bardi Gang and Meg’s Hot Girls clapped back in their defense. People lit up Bradley with non-stop digital smoke and checked him for the hating tweets.
Before You Go
Despite the negative perception from Bradley, “WAP” has been embraced by both men and women alike. This week, rap star Offset and R&B singer Kehlani shared their support for the must-see visual.
“WAP is a movieeeeeee. a cinematic moment. *chefs kiss* a motion picture!” -Kehlani’s Twitter
“Thank you love …we gotta do another 1” -Cardi B
“So proud of my wife. She works so hard and her creativity and mind is out this world .LUCKIEST n*gga ever .Wap out now!” -Offset’s Instagram
“Let me eat it 😈” -Offset
