Four days after facing a potential arrest for skipping a hearing, Cardi B appeared in a New York courtroom Friday (Dec. 7) for her alleged involvement in a strip club brawl.
During the August incident at Angels Strip Club in Queens, New York, Cardi allegedly ordered an attack on two of the venue’s female bartenders, one of whom was rumored to have have sex with Offset. The rapper’s crew allegedly threw bottles, chairs, and a hookah at the bartenders, resulting in injuries. She was charged with two misdemeanor counts of reckless endangerment and one misdemeanor count of assault.

On Friday, the judge ordered Cardi B to avoid contact with the bartenders, a spokesperson for the Queens District Attorney told CNN. Prosecutors had requested bail be set at $2500, but the judge released the “Bodak Yellow” rapper on her own recognizance. She is due back in court Jan. 31.
Her attorney, Jeff Kern, said she missed the previous court date due to a scheduling conflict. Cardi was seen shooting a video for City Girls’ “Twerk” in Miami on Monday.
Earlier today, she was nominated for five Grammys, including Album of the Year and Best Rap Album for her debut Invasion of Privacy.
When asked how it feels to be in court and Grammy nominated on the same day, Cardi told reporters, “I feel like, Owww!”
