As you may know, the Cardi B and Nicki Minaj beef is in full force and seems like it won’t slow down any time soon. TMZ reports in the creation of new music, Cardi has her eyes and bars set squarely on the Queen creator.

The report states there is a discussion going on between Cardi and her team on if the bars placed toward Nicki should remain. Cardi says yes because she is always true to herself, the squad thinks otherwise because in their eyes its over and Cardi has won the battle and continuing forward with mentioning of their issue would halt further progress.

The team may have a point, Cardi’s star is shining brightly as she still sits on top of the Billboard Hot 100 and took home major awards from this week’s BET Hip Hop Awards. With a new banger with Pardison Fontaine on the waves, it may just be best for the “I Like It” rapper to move forward, even though last month’s confrontation at New York Fashion Week is likely still fresh in her mind.
