Bryson Tiller rolls with Jack Harlow on “Thru the Night,” the first single from his forthcoming project.
The bouncy jam, produced by The Understudy, finds the 21-year-old rapper teaming up with his fellow Louisville native over a sample of Usher’s “U Don’t Have to Call.”
The companion video, directed by Ace Pro and Nemo Achida, was shot at famed Louisville landmark, Robben’s Roost Skating Rink. Bryson and Jack lace up their roller skates during the fun-filled day before hitting the parking lot as the song switches up.
The Tiller collaboration was a dream come true for Harlow. “Trapsoul came out my senior year, and that’s all we were listening to in the ‘Ville,” he told Billboard. “I was riding around and playing that shit on repeat. He was the hottest thing going. I always dreamed of doing a song with him. Now that we got one, of course it means the world to me.”
In addition to readying the follow-up to last year’s Loose, Harlow will hit the road on “The Mission Tour.” The 29-date trek kicks off Oct. 18 in Chicago and wraps in his hometown of Louisville on Nov. 29.
