Another whirlwind day of headlines ends in R. Kelly being bars. The legendary singer has been arrested after a hearing for child support resulted in handcuffs and a return to Cook County jail.
R. Kelly reported to the Daley Center for a child support hearing. He owes $161,663 to his ex-wife and was unable to pay the amount. According to reports from the court, Kelly arrived with up to $60,000 ready to pay today with the hope to create a payment plan. Instead, he will be going back to jail and will not be released until he can pay the full amount.
A couple of weeks ago, R. Kelly was bonded out of Cook County Jail for the sexual abuse charges. The fee was $100,000 and put up by a friend of the singer.
R. Kelly made waves late Tuesday night into Wednesday morning where a shocking interview with Gayle King of CBS was released to the public. R. Kelly was very emotional and denied any wrongdoing.
