West Coast rapper Blueface manager Wack 100 is living up to his name. The hip-hop executive has come forward to update fans on his protégé alleged legal drama.
Wack went to Instagram Monday to shut down hype and speculation about Blue gearing up for a shooting trial.
Some media outlets have announced Blue would have to prepare for an August trial.
In November 2018, Blueface Bleedem was arrested for his alleged connection in a highway retaliation shooting in Newhall, California. While authorities arrested the 22-year-old rapper on suspicion of a felony (assault with a deadly weapon — a firearm) he’s set to appear in court for a jury trial on August 16 on one misdemeanor count of carrying a loaded firearm. Back in November 2018, Blue made headlines for allegedly getting arrested following a car to car shooting.
“Under the course of investigation, detectives found evidence of a robbery prior to the shooting incident,” said Shirley Miller, spokesperson for the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station. Porter was released on $50,000 bond for assault with a deadly weapon charges, Miller said. After the shots were fired, the two parties fled the scene, with the vehicle carrying Blueface eventually crashing on SR-14. Porter was reportedly a victim of a robbery prior to the shootout, when the other person involved — who is still outstanding — allegedly attempted to rob the rapper at gunpoint. (KHTS)
Over the past few months, Blue has released a slew of hit singles.
