Just as his star is rising, Blueface now faces legal trouble. TMZ reports the rapper was arrested in Los Angeles on Friday (Feb 1) for gun possession.

LAPD was tipped off to Blueface’s location after receiving information on the location of rappers wearing jewelry and showing a lot of money, the area was rumored to be dangerous and the officers were supposedly concerned for their well-being.

Upon arrival, the crew of people, including Blueface, scattered and attempted to throw their guns when doing so. The LAPD apprehended the “Thotiana” rapper and two other men. The guns that were attempted to be discarded were found to be loaded.

He is now facing a felony possession for carrying a loaded weapon but is currently free on bail.

Blueface has recently made waves online for his music, which led him to sign to Cash Money Records West. In a Breakfast Club interview, it was revealed that Blueface was not knowing that he was signed to four different labels. His hit “Thotiana” is currently rising the Billboard Hot 100 and has received a remix with YG. He is currently scheduled to tour on the New Generation Tour with Lil Baby and City Girls.
