Black Thought is returning to Carnegie Hall’s Weill Music Institute this October. Black Thought will lead the second series of his free hip-hop workshop for rising MCs from October 25-28.
In the multi-day workshop, The Roots frontman will take 10 MCs under his wing through sessions focused on lyricism, flow, style, and delivery. Black Thought’s classes will also explore the history of HIp-HOp and will be joined by DJ and producer Sean C as a special guest. In addition to having leading music industry figures deliver insight on building a career, Black Thought will offer private coaching focused on improving artistry and developing technical abilities and individual sounds.
“School of Thought: A Hip-Hop Master Class Featuring Black Thought” will culminate in a final showcase on October 28 and will be open to the public. You can learn more about the School of Thought here.
