Big Sean goes “Bezerk.”
After debuting the song last month, the Detroit rapper brings his A$AP Ferg collaboration to life in the electrifying video. The bizarre clip, which Sean and Ferg directed with Mike Carson, opens with the duo at the liquor store before a young girl throws a pink grenade at them, igniting a wild and crazy adventure.
Joined by the track’s producer Hit-Boy, they surf through the streets on a carpet while being chased by giant wind-up teeth. Sean hangs from a giant Jacob & Co. watch before the trio flies through the sky, clad in du-rags and capes. In the final scene, they perform to a massive crowd inside a hot air balloon.
“Drop down, you a freak, bend it over, touch your feet,” raps Sean Don. “Shake that booty / I know it’s little but unique.”
Sean and Ferg performed their collaboration at the 2019 MTV Video Music Awards last month and Rihanna’s Savage x Fenty fashion show.
“Bezerk” follows Sean’s “Overtime” freestyle and “Single Again” featuring Jhené Aiko and Ty Dolla $ign. He is now readying his fifth studio album, the follow-up to 2017’s platinum-selling I Decided, which is due this fall.
“I just been returning to my roots, bro. I’ve just been getting back to having fun with it,” he told Apple Music’s Zane Lowe. “At one point I felt like it might have started to become like a burden, or like work, but now it’s just fun. So this is just me having fun bro, expressing myself. It was a time well spent. I never really knew how important it was to take some time for myself and get myself right.”
