According to Variety, “The untitled drama is a serialized legal and family drama about a prisoner who becomes a lawyer, litigating cases for other inmates while fighting to overturn his own life sentence for a crime he didn’t commit. His quest for freedom is driven by his desperate desire to get back to the family he loves and reclaim the life that was stolen from him.”
Mr. Jackson has been making significant moves as television and film mogul. He recently signed a multi-series deal with Starz worth an estimated $150 million. Per the deal, he will continue to create new scripted material and an unscripted series for the network through his G-Unit Film & Television Inc.
50 and G-Unit already have two new projects in active development, “Black Mafia Family,” and “Vanguard”: which he had open casting calls for.
